Shield Embassy Series
The Shield Embassy Series is forced entry resistant and designed to withstand entry from highly skilled attackers using heavy-duty tools such as sledge hammers, crow bars, wrenches, and wedges.
About the Product
The Embassy Series was tested at NTS Chesapeake in Belcamp, MD and Intertek in York, PA to the US State Department (DoS) forced entry standard at the 5 minute level (FE 5) and at the iFT Rosenheim laboratory in Germany and was awarded a Security Class 3 (RC 3) rating according to European standard EN1627. It was also tested for bullet resistance to UL752 level 3 and NIJ level IIIA, and European standard EN1522 level FB4. The door is suitable for private houses, apartments and commercial buildings.

Technical Specs
- Door constructed from 16 AWG steel.
- Frame constructed from 12 AWG steel.
- Armored multi-point locking system with up to 16 locking points 3⁄4” Ø.
- Locks encased in drill resistant manganese.
- UL752 level 3, NIJ level IIIA – optional.
- Door thickness: 3” (75mm).
- Frame thickness: 4” (100mm).
- Welded, adjustable ball bearing security hinges.
- 1⁄2” (12mm) or 3/4” (18mm) thick decorative panels.
- 2” of rock wool for sound and thermal insulation
- Door is pre-hung to the frame.
- L-shaped frame profile that protects locking.
- Frame is secured in the wall using 16 bolts protected by 1” steel shims.

Shield Embassy Series Installation FAQs
The Shield Embassy series comes as a pre-hung door set and includes frame, locks, cylinders, handles, hinges, and hardware.
It can be installed by any licensed GC or door installer
No specialized training or tools required!
A 1/2” to 3/4” gap is required on all sides between the frame and wall (rough opening).
The Shield Embassy series frame is designed to adapt to crooked walls and openings.
