Once an order is approved for production and a deposit has been paid, it takes on average 6-8 weeks to produce a door and prepare it for shipping. Doors with glass take 10-12 weeks to produce. In some circumstances, we are able to offer expedited production for an additional fee.
Shield doors start at $8000 for a single door. Because all our doors are custom, each project must be quoted by a member of our team.
Yes! All our doors are custom made and can be designed to match the other doors in your home or business. Customization also extends to dimensions, security level, and locking options.
Our doors are exceptionally secure, meeting the same security standards used in US embassies and consulates around the world. Our Embassy Series door class is tested to the FE5 level and is subjected to 30 man-minutes of attack time. Our Fortress Series door class is tested to the FE15 level and is subjected to 4.5 man hours of attack time.
The vast majority of our doors are installed by local general contractors. We design and engineer our doors for ease of installation so that specific training or certification is not required. On large projects, we offer a supervised installation whereby a member of our team will manage the installation process and ensure everything is done right.
No, you don’t need to replace all your doors to be secure. There are specific entry point in any home or business that are the most critical and provide the greatest protection. We are always happy to talk through those options based on your layout and identify which doors will give you the best value.
We offer a one year warranty covering all materials sold by Shield Security Doors.
Our doors can be designed for interior conditions or exterior (exposed to weather). We always incorporate the best materials, aesthetic finish options, and engineering depending on where your door is going so that your door is always up to the task.
Yes! Our doors can be upgraded to be handgun level bulletproof (UL752 level 3) or rifle level bulletproof (UL752 level 7 and 8).
